Offshore Europe

The premier international oil and gas event, Offshore Europe, took place in September in Aberdeen, Scotland, with the highest-ever attendance figures, with around 35,000 visitors. The biennial show also attracted 1,455 exhibiting companies from around the world.

Upgrade to oil flow facilities

The recently upgraded oil flow lines at TUV NEL have been in heavy demand both for industrial flowmeter calibration and development, and for NMS research work. The four test lines can handle flows up to 200 l/s, and are accredited by UKAS to provide calibrations with uncertainties of 0.03% against the primary gravimetric standard, and 0.08% against the turbine reference meters.
