The Oil & Gas Focus Group was initiated to look at the specific needs of the Oil and Gas Industry relating to flow measurement. It is an ideal opportunity to influence the emphasis and direction of future research and development in flow measurement, as the findings of the group will directly influence the formulation of future DIUS funded R&D.
The purpose of the Group is to identify, prioritise and solve common flow related problems with the backing of Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills (DIUS) funding.
The group has a two-fold purpose:
- To disseminate knowledge gained from Flow Programme work
- To provide input to the next Engineering & Flow Programme in terms of priority setting for research and development projects
The Group is chaired by Douglas Griffin, BERR, who is one of the Steering Group members.
The aim of this site is to give members access to useful information relating to the group. If there are any topics you would like to see discussed please contact us.
